Lu\u00edsa Tender nasceu no Porto. Nesta cidade estudou piano com Anne-Marie Mennet, Pedro Burmester e Helena S\u00e1 e Costa. Entre 1997 e 2000, foi aluna de Vitalij Margulis em Los Angeles; e posteriormente de Irina Zariskaya, no Royal College of Music em Londres, onde obteve o grau de Master of Music. Foi tamb\u00e9m aluna de Marian Rybicki e recebeu o Dipl\u00f4me Sup\u00e9rieur d\u2019Ex\u00e9cution em piano na \u00c9cole Normale de Musique de Paris. \u00c9 doutorada em Ci\u00eancias Musicais, na especialidade de Ensino e Psicologia da M\u00fasica, pela Faculdade de Ci\u00eancias Sociais e Humanas (NOVA, Lisboa).<\/p>

O seu primeiro cd (Bach and Forward, edi\u00e7\u00e3o de autor, Londres 2009), que inclui obras de J. S. Bach, F. Schubert e C. Debussy, foi Escolha do M\u00eas na revista brit\u00e2nica Classical Music. O seu segundo trabalho discogr\u00e1fico, P\u00e1gina Esquecida, um cd duplo com obras portuguesas para violoncelo e piano com Bruno Borralhinho (Dreyer & Gaido, Berlim, 2009), recebeu tamb\u00e9m os melhores elogios em publica\u00e7\u00f5es da \u00e1rea da M\u00fasica (Fanfare, Strings Magazine, Das Orchester, entre outras).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Gravou a integral das sonatas para piano de J. D. Bomtempo (Naxos Grand Piano, 2019), edi\u00e7\u00e3o que teve grande destaque na imprensa internacional especializada (Ritmo, Music Web International, Stretto, Musikalifeiten). A Revista espanhola Ritmo dedicou-lhe um longo artigo intitulado \u00abTiempo para Bomtempo \u2013 Lu\u00edsa Tender\u00bb. Lu\u00edsa publicou ainda, em coautoria com Manuel Pedro Ferreira, um \u00e1lbum did\u00e1ctico multim\u00e9dia intitulado O pescador de sons (Lisboa, CESEM, 2019). A prop\u00f3sito de um dos seus concertos, o London Independent descreveua como \u00aba natural Beethovenian\u00bb.<\/p>

Foi durante dois anos lectivos assistente convidada na Escola Superior de M\u00fasica e Artes do Espect\u00e1culo do Porto (ESMAE). Actualmente, reside em Lisboa e \u00e9 professora titular de Piano na Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas de Castelo Branco (ESART), onde foi coordenadora do Mestrado em Ensino de M\u00fasica.<\/p>
